We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Everybody in their life has been touched by cancer in one way shape or form, be it a loved one, friend or partner.  Instead of sitting back and letting somebody else do the fundraising I have decided to do my part and raise as much as I can to help battle this vile disease.

So, feeling inspired by the bravery I have seen over the years,  I decided that I was going to try and do my part by raising as much money as I could for Cancer Research UK by lacing up my running trainers.

My Aim, simple, to run and raise as much as my body will allow me to.

I decided on 25 organised races, comprising of 13 x half marathons, 11 x 10ks and culminating in the Brighton marathon.  From the races alone, I would be clocking up around 270 miles, let alone the 30+ miles a week training that would be needed to safely carry this challenge out, totaling around 1500 miles

The races chosen are as follows:

February

9th Longleat 10k

March

2nd Bath Half Marathon

20th Yeovil Half Marathon

May

5th Milton Keynes Half Marathon

11th Bristol 10k
