Story

On Monday 24th August 2009, brothers Mark and Richard Walsh will embark on their latest fundraising swimming event.

In 2007 they completed their 50 mile Lake District Long Distance Swim Challenge in less than 48 hours.
This year they are back with an epic 135.18 mile swim down the River Thames starting at Cricklade Bridge on Monday 24th August finishing at Teddington Lock in time for dinner on Friday 28th August.
For more details about the swim got to:

They are attempting to raise in excess of £2,500 for Leukaemia Research and in memory of Dave Hicks, IT Technician at Kirkby Stephen Grammar School and all round quality bloke.
