Well this year I've decide to salve my guilty conscience with a sponsored ride. I'll have a lovely time. But it'll be even lovelier if I know that every turn of the pedals is bringing me closer to my individual target of £1,000 and the collective target of £100,000. So please give as much as you can. • £250 and I'll shoot and edit an event video just for you or a family member of friend.

I have no personal connection to Willen Hospice but it's just down the road from where I spent my childhood and it serves an area where many family and friends still live. You don't need me to tell you what a wonderful job the hospice movement does for those at the end of their lives - with only partial funding from the NHS. So dig deep. I will be. And thank you.
