Story
Richard was strongly involved with the Royal Institution for over 40 years, having given the famous Christmas Lectures in 1967 and presented many Discourses. Richard was particularly enthused by the Ri’s role in igniting a curiosity about science and technology in young people. Beginning in 1825 with Faraday’s Christmas Lectures, today the initiative provides creative science programmes for young people all around the UK by way of schools lectures, hand-on laboratory sessions and maths and engineering masterclasses. In memory of Richard Gregory, please donate to the Royal Institution’s education programme so it can continue to inspire curious young minds.
