This Thursday at 8pm myself and 11 other members of Harold Wood Cricket Club will be embarking on a 24hr net session in order to raise money to purchase new nets for the club. This will be a straight 24hr event...no breaks, no stints, no mercy come rain or shine.

I can honestly say hand on heart that the people that run and coach this club are a credit to the community. Not only do they mange to put together 7 competitive adult teams each weekend, they also boast a great female, disability side and put their heart and soul into training the up and coming youth...and they do this all for free.

Unfortunately our training facilities are dated and run down so any donations are greatly appreciated in helping this great club continue to help/support and develop the young....and old of the community.

There will be a party from 6pm on Friday 11th July at the club to celebrate this achievement and hopefully raise a little more...so please feel free to come and join us.
