Story
Hi everyone!
In a moment of madness inspired by UKSA awards and Rich Beardsall's Round the Island swim, I agreed to run two marathons in seven days later this year. Brighton on 18th April and London on 25th. I am raising money for two charities - UKSA in Cowes and a charity called Breaks 4 Kids. The UKSA contribution will be the cash I raise in school etc (I'm aiming for £500 pounds for them on top of the £1500 for Breaks 4 kids) and this page will go towards Breaks 4 kids unless I can get this site to split the money accordingly between the two charities.
As you will know, this is a big challenge for a fat rugby player, so I'm hoping your recognition of this will be reflected in your generosity! Having completed my first marathon in Amsterdam in October, I am well aware that this is a huge task for me. HOWEVER, having also worked with UKSA and seen the benefits that children get from activity breaks, I am prepared to give this challenge a go in the hope that it helps these two charities carry on with their amazing work.
