For those of you who know me well will be fully aware of why I have a strong affiliation with St. Mark's Hospital and the fact that they got me through a tough time in my life in the late 90s. This was down to the skill and expertise of the doctors and nurses working there and now I would like to do something for St. Mark's that will benefit other people like me in the future. 

I will be part of the Colon Challenge 2015 cycle ride which is 280 miles distance broadly following a route in the shape of a colon, starting in Hemel Hempstead and ending in London at no better place than the Arsenal Stadium.
