Izzy, my niece was diagnosed with leukaemia in the summer and is currently undergoing treatment.  

Anton Nolan arrange the donations of bone marrow that allow someone who makes cancerous blood (in their bone marrow) to make healthier blood.  It requires a relatively simple and uncomfortable but not painful, donation of bone marrow (hardly an effort if it saves a life is it?).  

They can treat 2 people a day which is amazing but due to lack of funds and donors another 2 people a day aren't able to have the life saving transplant.
