Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
About my event: To mark what we hope is the final stage of Covid restrictions being lifted, I have decided to shave off my abundant locks to raise money for a charity very close to my heart: the Llewellyn Edwards Bell Restoration Fund (LEBRF)! My charity head-shave will be live-streamed on video via Anne Wardell's Facebook page starting at 11:30am on Sun 20th June (https://fb.me/e/NU6AsGhz), and you can sponsor me by clicking on the 'Give Now' button
About me: You may have seen me around Marlborough and the Pewsey Vale not only thatching peoples' roofs, but also as tower captain of bellringers at St George's Church in Preshute, Marlborough, having learnt to ring at St Mary's in the town over 30 years ago.
About the LEBRF: I have been involved in several bell restoration projects over the years, many of these supported by vital funding from the LEBRF, and so I want to give something back to this charity - raising money for the fund so that it can continue to keep bells ringing across the Salisbury Guild now and for future generations.
Thank you! Richard
