After introducing Forever Manchester as a charity partner for Victoria Warehouse's white collar boxing event, Bee Phenomenal, I decided to put my chin were my mouth is and get involved.

As of Monday the 18th, I will start an intensive 2 month training regime - which will also involve going completely dry - to make sure I can put up a good fight on the 11th November.

This isn't a-pay-for-something-fun-I want-to-do-fundraiser; it's completely out of my comfort zone. The training alone will be a gruelling 8 weeks of pain followed by more pain on the night. More importantly, every single penny that is donated will be going to a charity that supports hundreds of smaller local causes that wouldn't exist without them.
