Story
Dear friends and family,
For some, it’s been a year since I’ve seen you and the last you heard, I was packing in my job and setting off for the exotic sights of Vietnam. Insane! Is what most of you thought, or at least that was what was going through my mind. Well, fast forward a year and I’ve had a hectic time of teaching and living in a crazy but wonderful country. I’ve decided to go one step closer to madness and do something for a country that has been a teacher, mother and friend. If you can help me achieve this then you will forever be considered wonderful in my mind!
I have taken on the challenge of cycling for a month, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in February. It’s going to be a 2000km ride on bumpy roads, through lush countryside and up and over mountains. The longest day’s ride will be a gruelling 110km and shortest is 49km. I’ll be doing this with 13 other riders and I’ll be training by employing the Rocky approach; lifting cars and running up and down steps, as well as the usual cycling, running, jumping and walking.
Should you wish to support me, the money I raise will go towards the Saigon Children’s Charity (SCC). The SCC was founded to help disadvantaged Vietnamese children to get an education and a fairer start in life. The charity operates in the south of Vietnam and the support they offer includes:
· Educational scholarships, which includes school materials
· Helping to build schools
· Vocational training
· Helping to support other similar organisations
I’m covering all of the trip expenses, and since H2H is organised and run completely by volunteers, 100% of your donation will be going to the projects (minus essential expenses). I aim to raise as much as possible, so every little helps!

Thank you for reading this and all support and donations are much appreciated!
Much Love
