We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

To all my non horsey friends, a BE80 is the entry level for affiliated eventing, a sport that involves dressage, show jumping and cross country. In other words, a massive challenge for me.

The Wobbleberry challenge arose after Hannah Francis, a young inspirational event rider died at the age of just 18. Her charity, Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony raises money for bone cancer research and granting horsey wishes to those with serious illnesses. The Wobbleberries were founded by Sally Barr, Georgie Horrell, Julie Godbold and Sam Elms, they posted their aims on Facebook and thousands of us took up the challenge.

I am going to be fifty next year and this is a massive challenge for me and my lovely pony Ruby. This time last year I was three stone heavier and struggled to even get on but now I can at least manage that.

Ruby, my lovely section D has spent the most of her life as a field ornament and mum but that has all changed. when I first had her, a little over two years ago she hadn't really seen a school and certainly hadn't jumped. back in august we began our training and now four months on we can jump a small course and have mastered three time canter (well almost)

Please help me raise as much as I can. I am also doing this for my dear late friend Chris Gethin who sadly also died of cancer.
