Thanks very much to everyone who has sponsored me. The race but also really challenging so I feel like I definitely earned your sponsorship! Thanks again!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 10 October 2010 I'll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of the Bone Cancer Research Trust. For those of you that don't know, a half marathon is 13.1 miles (or 21.0779km) and this is quite a big deal for me.
Until 1.5 years ago I'd never run further than 5km. Until about a month ago, I'd never run 10km. At the time of writing, I have never run more than 9 miles (you get the picture).
Running this race is one of the 30 things I set myself to do before I turn 30 next year so it's a personal challenge (see my blog www.rhi30before30.blogspot.com for details). It's also, however, for an important cause which is on the minds of my extended family at the moment.
I'd be very grateful if you could sponsor me to run the race. My target is £275 (set by BCRT) but it would be great to beat that, and would help keep me motivated in my training and on the day.
Many thanks for your generosity!
Rhiannon
