We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Our challenge is Just Walk - a 40km walk across the South Downs on 9th May 2015.

We are doing this to support The Waterbabies Atlantic Row. Callum Gathercole is a very brave, young man who very sadly lost his father, Clive to a brain tumour. Callum is aiming to be the youngest person to row the Atlantic solo in December 2015 and raise a tremendous amount of money for 3 charities. Of these charities, we have chosen to support his fundraising efforts for Brain Tumour Research. This charity is seriously underfunded, brain tumours are not well diagnosed and they are poorly treated. They are the biggest cancer killer of the under 70's and only 1% of cancer research funds are put into brain tumours. Funding for this research is vital. There was no effective treatment for Clive, we lost a wonderful friend and Callum lost a fantastic father, we want to help Brain Tumour research change the future for others.

Please help us to help Callum in his awesome efforts to help this charity. No matter how small a donation, every £1 counts.

We really appreciate your support.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
