Follow my adventure and the preparations on my special Facebook page - our big Zambezi challenge.

I have signed up to take part in Cats Protections Zambezi Challenge. I will be canoeing down the Zambezi River - Africa's fourth largest river. For those of you that know me just getting on the plane to get there will be a challenge. I don't like flying, I'm uneasy with open water and camping is certainly not on my bucket list. I will also spend a couple of days at the end of the trip educating the locals on the benefits of conservation in accordance with the Zambian Wildlife Authority - approved syllabus.

Whilst this is an amazing opportunity, all aspects of the trip will be physically and mentally challenging for me because of my fears and phobias, so what better way to test myself and raise money for local Cats Protection branches.
