Story

Ryan is a 5 year old little boy who has neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.  Ryan has been fighting this disease since the age of 22 months.  Ryan’s family need to raise £300,000 to give him the treatment he needs for the chance of a healthy, happy future.

We are four soldiers based in Princess Royal Barracks, Gutersloh, Germany.  We have been touched by Ryans story and on hearing what a brave little chap he is, we thought we could do something to help.  On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June, me and my friends will be riding the distance of Gutersloh to Exeter (Ryan's home town).  The road distance is 1000km and the English Channel distance is 34km, which we intend to row.

We will be covering the distance outside the British Forces Supermarket NAAFI Max on static bikes and rowing machines. Working in our team of four over a 24 hour period we will be eating, sleeping, biking and rowing in relay.

Any donations you can make towards Ryan's treatment, will make a huge difference to the total needed.  Help us to support Ryan who is a very special, inspirational little boy.
