Myemyela Project · 14 October 2016

We raise funds at Nottingham to transform lives.

Story

In spring time 2017 I will be working as part of a group of architecture students and tutors from the University of Nottingham to build a nursery school in South Africa. The school will be located in Lephepane, Limpopo, South Africa which is one of the poorest and least developed areas in the country.

I have a personal goal of raising £1000 but as a team we are working together to raise a total of £38,000 to cover the costs of materials, tools, subcontracted works and project logistics like travel to the site. I will be paying for flights and accomodation myself so all money raised will go directly on providing a safe environment for the children to learn in.

This project will not only benefit the children in the village but it will provide employment opportunties for locals who will teach and work at the school therefore helping to create a better community.

I would appreciate any donations greatly as it will help to create a better learning environment.
