Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGivining page
In April 2015 I was diagnosed with primary Breast Cancer, what followed was two operations, 4 cycles of chemotharpy and 19 cycles of Radiotherapy. Unfortunately in January 2016 I was told I had secondary Breast Cancer in my bones, and so in april this year I started 5 cycles of chemotheraphy. We are blessed with two wonderful and brilliant boys Rohan 10 and Alphin 7 who have and continued to be so strong, brave and are ever bright sunshines since my diagnosis. They wanted to help make a change and help in some way so they came up with a cunning and fun way to raise vital funds to beat Breast Cancer.
They have planned a route 3.4 miles / 5 Kilometers long. Along this route they will be not only running, but cycling, taking part in 3 legged race, egg and spoon and maybe a sack race thrown in for the fun of it.
They won't be doing this alone, there fabulous cousins Adam and Emma will be joining them on the evening to take part along side them on their 5 kilometer course.
The funds raised will be going directly to Life cycle 6 campaign at the University of Nottingham to help fund the world-leading research to stop this common and devistating disease called Breast Cancer. Every year over 1.6 million women worldwide are diagnosed and every week 10,000 women die... Their aim is to develop the worlds first blood test to detect Breast Cancer early, to find new ways to treat Breast Cancer and to stop it spreading. Thank you so much for reading our story and hope you can help us in making a difference to beat Breast Cancer in all its forms and stages sooner.
