Story

Me and my brother Tom did it, and what a great day. Thanks so much for all  your donations.

Now the baton passes to Dad, who suffers from MPN's, in the Birmingham Half Marathon on 19th October. It was to be the Nottingham Half, but he decided to fall off some step ladders and cut his head open two days before it.

MPN Voice (formerly known as MPD voice) support people diagnosed with a Myeloproliferative Neoplasm. Chances are you never will hear of MPN's as they are very rare and only affect only 1 in 100,000 people. They rely entirely upon donations to help people diagnosed with MPN's live the best lives they can.

There is no cure yet for MPNs; we want to do our part in raising money so research can be continued to identify MPN’s in people sooner as it can be a fatal condition if not diagnosed.

Dad is keen to raise as much as possible between now and the 19th of October and is training hard. Any further donations will help keep him motivated.

When we started we didn't dare to think we would raise as much as we have , but still every small amount helps. So once again, thank you all so much.

About the charity

MPN Voice leads the way in supporting people with rare blood cancers called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), with accurate information and emotional support. We're funding research toward better treatments and one day a cure. Most importantly we offer hope to those affected by MPNs.
