Mont  Blanc to the Matterhorn

A READY mountaineering team attempt the route in just 6 days to raise funds for the charity

The Haute Route between Chamonix and Zermatt  is the highest ‘High Altitude route in Europe. Crossing 23 glaciers, a distance of 114 miles and 14,000 m of ascents and descents. The team are attempting to complete this in 6 days staying in High Altitude huts along the way. It will require a mixture of Ski touring , climbing, walking and pretty much anything else you can think of to cross ravines etc along the way

The team are looking for sponsorship for them to complete this challenge in order to raise funds for READY.

READY (Recreation and Easy access for Disabled youth)  is a registered  charity which assists disabled youth take part in sports and activities. From providing specialised wheel chairs for individuals to take part in the London marathon, transport for riding for the disabled events and even coaching for Para-Olympians, Ready is a unique charity which desperately requires more funds in order to help very special individuals.
