Story
This year, as part of team of employees from across Dentsu Aegis Network North I will be taking part in the Manchester 10k on Sunday 22 May 2016. My goal is to help homeless in Manchester. I was motivated by increasing number of homeless on Manchester streets I see every day and this great article;
On the running side my goal to break PB of 42 mins in the
run and this will mean much pain over the distance. It won't be just jog for a cause - this will be run or die case for me..... :-) So far I've run 550km over 62 runs in 50 hours in preparation for this event.
Altogether there will be around 200 runners fundraising for Booth Centre. The Booth Centre is a day centre that offers advice and activities for homeless people in Manchester. We provide advice, education and training to enable homeless people to find new homes, improve their health, increase their skills and confidence and to successfully resettle in the community.
Thanks for your support! Watch out for me on Sunday 22 May if you're in Manchester..
