It's all got a bit serious - Racing at Le Mans 2012, 21 April 2012
We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

To support this years Le Mans 24H race, an all-Aston Martin race has been organised to take place before the start of the main endurance event.
I have entered my Aston Martin GT4 under the Blue Barn Racing Team.

I spent six months working at the Royal Marsden Hospital and saw first-hand the ground-breaking work that goes into treating cancer and rebuilding the individuals afterwards.
Surgery, physiotherapy, nursing, research, the cutting-edge treatment at the Marsden has made it a world-leading centre in the tratment of cancer.

I'd like to put something back into the Marsden, and I'm useless at running marathons and didn't fancy sitting in a bathtub full of baked beans. But racing's what I do, so rather than have 'Marlboro' or 'Vodafone' plastered along the side of the car, why not raise some money to help fight cancer?

So if you're going to be at Le Mans this year, look out for a light metallic blue Aston with green stripes - it would be great to have your support.
