We are the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK

Story

"Racing for NSPCC" is a team of kart racers who have come together for a common cause: to raise money and generate publicity for a very worthy charity.

We will be competing in a one-off weekend of kart racing against more than 35 other teams: four two-and-a-half hour races to determine the champions of the Le Luc racetrack in the south of France, at speeds of up to 75 mph.

Last year, members of the team raised over £1000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, and were quite successful on track too! The drivers also impressed at the British 24 Hour kart race and in Club 100's national endurance karting championship.

Our aim is to win our race, which takes place at the start of May. All we ask for is your donations, which go directly to the NSPCC through this page: rest assured that not a penny of your generosity will go towards our costs for the race, travel, accommodation or any other expenses.

Many thanks for your support! Please tell your friends about this page and help us to reach our target.

Post-Event news: Racing For NSPCC won its class at the event, as was our aim. Thank you to everybody who has donated so far. We are still encouraging donations until this page expires at the end of June.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is a very efficient way to sponsor us: the NSPCC will receive your money more quickly and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
