The Willberry Wonder Pony team was inspired by Hannah, a young event rider, who sadly lost her battle against cancer in 2016. The Wobbleberry Challenge is to compete in a British Eventing 80cm 1 day event. The event covers 3 sections
- Dressage - Trotting in circles
- Show Jumping - jumping the coloured fences that knock down
- Cross Country - galloping round fields, through water, over ditches, down drops and over soild fences that do not move!
The Wobbleberry Challenge is aimed at horse riders who are currently not in a position to compete at this level and who will face numerous challenges, both mental and physical, to complete this challenge. This challenge is well outside of mine and my horses comfort zone but within our capabilities if we are dedicated and learn to work together as a team. Step one will be learning to stay on board when we have a difference of opinion!!!!!
The road to success will be filled with hard work and dedication and each step of the way we will be promoting Willberry Wonder Pony and Cancer Research in the hope that the generosity of our friends and family along the way will make a difference for familys in the future.
