Hiya!

For the past few months, I've been working hard to help organise a 14 night physically enduring trek to Morocco to raise a huge amount of money for a charity close to my heart - The Afghanistan Trust.

On Weds 18th April, I set off on this nerve racking expedition...

My dad has told me "triumph" starts with "try" and ends in an oomph!...so I'll let you know how I get on...!

We will be travelling in a small team of 16 people - some from Nissan GB, and also 4 soldiers from the Parachute Rgt who have all sustained serious injury whilst serving in Afghanistan. (two have suffered amputations to their leg)

We're heading off  from Nissan HQ near London, ferrying from Portsmouth to Santander, through Spain to Morocco..and then will undergo some hardcore physical challenges in the desert... which culminate in a 10 mile march at the end...aaahhhh!! If you know me well...you will know that this is no easy task...the 10mile march alone gives me sleepless nights...

Not sure if this is good or bad...but we're also going to be filmed by a film crew so I'll share the videos with you whilst we're out there!

These brave servicemen have shown us how much they care, now it's time to show them our appreciation. To show your support, please donate and leave any messages of encouragement!

The Afghanistan Trust gives assistance to soldiers of The Parachute Regiment who were wounded in action, or the dependants of those killed in action in Afghanistan. They are a small charity, and working cloesly with them has made me realise how much every penny can make a difference to the support they can provide.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
