In 2008 Lee was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumour called an intraosseous meningioma of the sphenoid wing. This is a benign tumour which will eventually make me blind in my right eye. I have undergone 4 bouts of debulking surgery in the last six years. I live with this disease every day, but with the help of all my friends and most of all , my wife Lucie, and my children Georgia and Daisie, we will beat it. I am doing this tough mudder challenge to try and raise some money for the Brain tumour charity, to help with their continued efforts towards the research of these tumours.
