Story
Following the judgment against the British Humanist Association (BHA) and Richmond Inclusive Schools Campaign (RISC) in the case against Richmond Council, the exclusive voluntary aided Catholic secondary school in Twickenham will almost certainly go ahead. So will the small primary. We now have to pay the Council's legal costs, up to a limit set by the court, which took into account all the pledges made, including Gift Aid in cases the person making the pledge said they were happy to pay via a donation to the BHA.
Please click the "Donate" button (above right) and:
- enter the full amount of your pledge under "Choose the amount you would like to donate"
- click the "I am a UK taxpayer" button (unless you're not!) under "Add Gift Aid", otherwise we'll have a shortfall.
Please also tick the box saying "I'm happy for Jeremy Rodell to see my email address..." otherwise we won't be able to keep track of who has paid. It comes near the end of the payment process.
The funds collected here will be solely used for the legal costs.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the BHA and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
