On the 19th September our team of 10 architect cyclists will attempt to complete a journey of 440 miles in just four days. We will set off from the offices of the Royal Incorporation of Architects, Edinburgh and tackle the challenging route to the offices of the Royal Institute of British Architects, London. 

The challenge is being led by current Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA) President Michael Dougall and is in support of the Architects Benevolent Society (ABS). Michael will be joined by Andrew Cardwell, Rupert Daly and Neal Whittaker of Collective Architecture, Marc Kilkenny of Marc Kilkenny Architecture, Nicholas Bone of Keppie Design, Matt Bridgestock of John Gilbert Architects, Carlo Guidi of INK Design, David Kennedy of Paul Davis and Partners, GIA Past President Michael Jarvis of MAST Architects and former GIA Vice President Stuart Gray. 

The GIA has been a regular benefactor to ABS, the only registered charity in the UK dedicated to helping past and present architects, assistants, AT Professionals and landscape architects and their families in times of need.
