Please help Natasha, Louise, Sarah, Rhiannon, Karine, Sarah B, Natasha M and Cirsten raise Money for Ready Emmy Walk & Just 4 children!
Text REWT90 £10 to 70070 to donate instantly.
We are walking the Thames on Saturday 24 September to help raise money for Emmy King, the 2-year-old daughter of Carly and Dave King. The money we raise will go towards funding Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) - a life changing spinal operation not currently available on the NHS to hopefully help Emmy walk.
Emmy has Cerebral Palsy Spastic Diplegia, which as well as causing her discomfort also means she suffers from stiff legs and feet and cannot walk or stand unaided. SDR is a life changing spinal operation that will hopefully enable Emmy to walk and have all the opportunities we take for granted growing up. Without SDR, Emmy would face multiple orthopaedic operations, Botox treatment and leg casting throughout her life and would ultimately need a wheelchair.
You can read Emmy’s full story at www.justgiving.com/readyemmywalk and follow her journey at www.facebook.com/readyemmywalk.

Our team of London walkers are Natasha Ryle (Carly’s sister!), Louise Rickwood, Rhiannon Burgess (Carly’s cousins!), Karine Dussimon, Sarah Benke, Natasha Minto, and Cirsten Spangenberg.
We will be walking approx. 20 miles / 30k from Putney Bridge to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, and cross the Thames a total of 17 times. We think the walk will take us around 7-8 hours.
We hope you can support us in this challenge to raise money to help fund Emmy's operation. Thank you so much!
