Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are running the 2019 Great North Run to raise money for the Sick Children's Trust. When our little cousin Miley went into the Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary in October 2018, the Sick Children's Trust offered our Auntie, Uncle and family incredible support. Unfortunately, Miley passed away at 19:30 on the 19th October, aged 10. We want to help other sick children and their families as much as possible.

The Sick Children's Trust offers support to the whole family of sick children. One of the main ways which they help is providing their free, high quality 'Home from Home' accommodation. This enables the families to stay together while their child is in hospital. This service was a great help to our Auntie, Uncle and family while Miley was in hospital. They also provide valuable support to the whole family through what is an extremely difficult time.
