Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Denise Kendrick is walking 105 miles of the Robin Hood Way over 7 days to raise money for research to develop a blood test to detect breast cancer whilst it is still curable.  This ground breaking research is being carried out at the University of Nottingham and the test aims to detect breast cancer when it is too small to feel or to see on a mammogram, and when it can still be cured.

A few of us are walking with her on one or more days and we are looking for sponsors to support this important cause and prevent more women from having to have surgery, radiotherpay, chemotherapy and years of hormone and other treatments.
