Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been inspired by a wonderful young lady called Hannah who sadly lost her fight with cancer in August this year. However she has left behind her a fabulous charity in Willberry Wonder Pony.

Archie and I are going to be competing in a BE80 (a One day event with jumps 80cms high!) by October 2017. A one day event comprises 3 phases; Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.

I am a wobbly, unfit rider who is old enough to know better but doesn't and Archie is an 8 yr old Dales Pony. We have completed a couple of dressage tests and recently jumped our first (very low) course of jumps! I only taught him to jump last year and before that I hadn't jumped in 20+ years. So we have a long way to go to reach our target.

We would be so grateful for any donation, however big or small. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
