What the team is up too.....
A team of friends from Derriford Hosptial in Plymouth deferred their Breakwater Swim last year to this August and would like to dedicate it to #TeamDawson. 75% of the money they raise through Pink Pong will be restricted to Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens. The additional 25% to the organisers of the swim The Chestnut Appeal.
Mike Fraser and Reece Lo are taking on a double dose of Tough Mudder this September. "For the people that haven’t heard of this event it is considered to be one of the toughest obstacle courses in the world. It is a 12-mile course set up by the army, which features 20 plus obstacles in the thick mud, where we will be shocked by electrical wires, froze by ice water and by the end of it be covered in mud and bruises. If that didn’t sound hard enough, we will be running it twice in one weekend just to really push ourselves to our limits." Lets get behind these boys.
The Page family are back at it, this September they will be taking on the Berlin Marathon, please make sure we get behind them every step and every mile.
“Every day around 10 young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. Despite improving survival rates, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children and teenagers.”
“Cancer Research UK Kids & Teens is a campaign to raise money for research into cancers affecting children, teens and young adults. With your help we will find cures and kinder treatments for young people facing cancer.”
