Cancer Research is East's (13) and Phulmaya's (10) chosen charity because over the past 7 years they have witnessed the loss of their cousin, Sam (7), their Granddad and are currently supporting their Grandma through terminal cancer.  

However, with the help of knowledge gained through work such as Cancer Research's, they have also seen two other members of their family (Julie and Nick) successfully overcome the illness.

Having to learn about cancer and deal with it from such a young age has been a demanding and challenging life experience but East and Phuly want to do something positive, something that they hope can make a difference....

On May 30th and 31st East and Phuly will cycle much further than they have cycled before - Starting in Bath and finishing in Maiden Newton, they will cover over 80 miles taking in sites such as Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury as well as cousin Sam's beautiful grave in Somerton. They will be accompanied by Natasha as well as Clare and Nick Glossop - Nick having just finished cancer treatment himself.
