Training has stepped up since hols! this week I have biked 18 miles and ran 20 woo!

Me and Nelson are doing the Great North Run! Come September were going to be fit athletes competing for the GNR title. NOT. However we will both be raising money for a great local charity (Children North east) with the proceeds hopefully going to Youth Link, a project run by the charity. Youth Link covers Tynedale, Blyth and Durham and has had many many sucess stories with young people. We and many others train to be mentors and get matched to a young person. we then proceed to meet up with the young person once a week and work towards the goals they have set themselves. The service has HUGE demand highlighting the success it has had since starting 3 years ago.
