Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you reading this knew my parents, Joan and Jim, who died within a year of each other from the same uncommon disease, Motor Neurone Disease, specifically ALS, known as Lou Gehrig's disease in North America.

On April 16th this year I will be starting a 3 week walk of the 268 mile Pennine Way, raising money for the MND Association, which did much to help both of my parents, and which funds research into the causes and potential cures for ALS.

I will be updating my blog at http://mndpennine.blogspot.com throughout the journey, so starting on April 16th.
