Story
On Sunday 21 October 2012, I will be running in the Great Birmingham Run raising much needed funds for Martineau Gardens - a beautiful community garden in Edgbaston. As the Chair of Trustees for this charity, the Gardens mean a lot to me. This is a place that matters. Within this precious green place, so much is achieved. Volunteers, many who have mental health issues or learning disabilities, tend the gardens to create a tranquil oasis from which we can all benefit. The Gardens organise environmental activities for children, are a haven for wildlife and aim get people back in touch with nature.
But the Gardens need donations to continue.
Your support would make such a difference.
