I'm attempting to cross South America East to West, solo and on foot, from the Atlantic coast in Brazil to the Pacific coast in Peru, following the mighty Amazon river from sea to source to sea, primarily as a personal challenge, but I also wanted to help support the amazing work of the Seeing is believing charity.

Seeing is Believing is a global initiative to help tackle avoidable blindness. Since the launch of the programme in 2003, 78 million people have been reached. ( Including Peru )
