Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2013 Roger cycled from St Malo to Montpelier and raised over £1300 for Alzheimer's and Naomi House. Never again, he thought.
Now, in a moment of sheer madness, Roger & myself, two daft old pensioners, have decided to commemorate the life of Alois Alzheimer by cycling from Poland to the UK, taking in some of his key life event locations.
We start in Wroclaw where he died, then to Berlin, Würzburg, Marktbreit (his birthplace), Aschaffenburg and Frankfurt from where we set off back to the UK across France to Caen and home to Portsmouth.
As this year is the centenary of his death in 1915, we have set our target distance at 1915 Km in the hope of raising at least £1915 for the Alzheimer's Society to help in their important work in combating this terrible disease.
