Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I hope to carriage drive from home Ashleworth (near Hartpury College) in Gloucestershire to Hay-on-Wye and back on 17th may 2014.  The circular route I have chosen to drive is 100 miles in length, I intend to use four horses each driving 25 miles before changing.

I belong to a driving group (www.hddg.co.uk), our chairman lives in Hay-on-Wye.  Whilst day dreaming one day I wondered if it would be possible to drive my horses to visit him at home, the plan was hatched.  This daydream has evolved into the 100 mile Carriage Drive.

Whilst this is a personal challenge I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to raise some money for the Midlands Air Ambulance.  I have twice witnessed the excellent work done by the Midlands Air Ambulance crews at extremely close quarters and am very happy to support the Charity.
