Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
There are some things that you never forget. One of those things for me was my wife, at the age of 26, telling me she had breast cancer.
During her treatment Jo was looked after by the incredible staff at Salisbury District Hospital and Southampton General. Since the end of her active treatment in 2011 she has worked to help raise awareness and fundraise to support people who find themselves in a similar situation.
Currently she is supporting the work of The Stars Appeal who are aiming to raise £750,000 for a new Breast Care Unit at Salisbury District Hospital.
Now it's my turn to help...
I'm aiming to cover 53km through the Alps from Orsieres in Switzerland to Chamonix in France in less than 14.5 hours. It'll be further than I've ever run before, on more difficult terrain than I've tackled in the past. But what a great experience it will be!
If you can donate to this very worthy cause I and countless others, both now and in the future, would be grateful.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Have a good day!
