Penny's Wobbleberry Challenge

Wobbleberry Challenge · 28 September 2016
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hannah Francis was a brave and determined 18 year old Event Rider who developed and sadly died from bone cancer in 2016. Hannah set up the Willberry Wonder Pony Charity to fund research into osteosarcoma and to grant horse related wishes to people with a terminal illness.
The Wobbleberry Challenge is aimed at slightly more mature riders and challenges them to complete a BE80 One Day Event.
My story.... I have ridden for many years. But have generally enjoyed the hunting field and pleasure riding, so the disciplines of dressage and show jumping are a tricky challenge for me.
I bought my lovely horse, Lexie in November last year. I first rode her when she was my hireling on a wonderful hunting break in Scotland. She is only 6 and neither of us have any previous experience of BE Eventing. She and I have worked very hard this summer trying to master the finer details of dressage, the control of riding over coloured poles in a small arena and the variety of technical cross country fences that we will face in a One Day Event cross country course.
I would really appreciate your sponsorship for my challenge and support for this wonderful charity.
Thank You.
