I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to honour the memory of Beatrice Emilia Bunning, the daughter of my wonderful friends, Georgia and Dom.

Bea was born at 10.48pm on 8th May 2017. Unfortunately she had a difficult time through labour and despite putting up an amazing fight passed away at 01.22am in her parents' arms.

Georgia and Dom are two of the most inspirational people I know. They have put everything into raising money for the charity Tommy's. This charity funds research into miscarriages, still births and neonatal death in order to save babies lives. Their hope is that in the future no one will have to endure the same tragedy as the Bunnings.

I am not a runner. I marvel at those people who want to do marathons or "go for a run" for leisure. It does not make sense to me.

Running for Bea, running for Georgia and Dom and running for Tommy's. That makes sense.
