In 2009 i had breast cancer and was lucky enough to respond to treatment, however not everyone is so lucky, like my lovely friend Karen Goodwin. She battled for over 6 years and sadly last week lost her fight. Macmillan were there to support her during her fight and it was her dream to climb Snowden to raise money for them. In 2011 she nearly made it to the top but sadly the weather took a turn for the worse and she had to turn back.. never fulfilling her dream. On the 1st of june along with another 50 crazy women,  together, we will fulfill her dream and raise much needed money for Macmillan so they can continue to support others fighting any cancer. Gary and Adam have also decided to join us ... please sponser Team Castledine.....even just £1.00.. it all adds up..
