Story

In September of this year we will be trekking up Kilimanjaro via the Rongai route.

The decision which charity to choose was actually made by our friend and work colleague Louise as we were not originally thinking about doing our trek for charity at all. This being our holidays we didn't really relate charity to it and also neither of us was thrilled by the idea of begging people for money. Nevertheless thanks to Louise we now have two challenges - to get up to the top of Africa's highest mountain and
to raise at least £1,000 for MS Therapy.

The charity we have decided to sponsor is the MS Therapy in Coventry and Warwickshire. MS Therapy is a local charity, which provides therapies and support for MS sufferers and those close to them. More information can be found at: http://merciamstherapy.org.uk/index.shtml

We have (or at least will have) paid for all of our trip ourselves so all money donated will go straight to the charity.

If you would like to keep up to date with our progress we are keeping a blog of our trip here: http://mykilimanjarotrek.blogspot.com/
