Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit Paul and Connor's JustGiving page, where we are hoping to raise some money for Kid's Kidney Research.
We have decided to participate in the London to Brighton bike ride in memory of our Daughter and Sister Madeline Campion-Marsh or Maddie as she preferred, who was taken very suddenly & tragically from us on 19th December 2012 at the age of just four years & 5 months.
Maddie passed suddenly of complications caused from a rare kidney disease called Xanthogranulomatous Pyelonephritis or XGP for short. Very little is known or fully understood about this very rare disease.. Knowing the utter devastation this has caused our family, we thought it fitting to try and raise some money for the Kids Kidney Research Charity, to help with their ongoing research so that kidney related diseases could hopefully one day be prevented in other children.
Maddie was a beautiful, caring and loving little girl, who had a sweet & gentle nature. She is missed greatly by all of her family, her little freinds, and by everyone who knew her. Maddie was a child, who loved the outdoors & nature, she adored cats, was fasinated by the sea. She loved helping Mummy make Cupcakes, loved anything Pink or Purple, drawing and sticking & especially loved being on her pink bike. She was a bright shining star in all of our lives, and will forever shine on in our hearts.
