Everybody knows someone who has been or is affected by cancer, this came home to me when a younger brother was diagnosed with cancer and required immediate surgery when i was on a business trip in Thailand. I've never felt so helpless. The phone call we had, was one i'd never like to repeat. He has since made a good recovery and i'm certain this is due to advanced technology, medicines and research. On Wednesday 5th December i will be doing a 15-20ft Fire Walk in aid of Cancer Research UK, as part of a team of Tesco employees.

The fire will be between 400-600F when we make the attempt.

I'm sure the rest of team like me are praying for a little rain!
