Story
Hello,
As I am sure you know I am disabled with multiple sclerosis. I can only walk with great difficulty. I will doing a one km walk and it will take me about one hour. This walk represents a huge challenge for me, both physically and mentally. I will be doing the sponsored walk in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 4th September.
In April this year I sailed on board the Jubilee Sailing Trust tall ship boat the Lord Nelson for one week. The boat with 50 people on board sailed from Southampton to France and back in April. It was an unforgettable experience and one I want to repeat. As well as a personal challenge it was definitely on the edge of my comfort zone.
The Jubilee Sailing Trust offers an oppportunity for people of all abilities and ages to discover sailing. You have to meet your own challenges as well as living and working with other people. It is a unique experience especially for disabled people.
Any amount that you can contribute will be greatly appreciated by both myself and the hardworking people at Jubulee Sailing Trust.
