Story
Paterson Recruitment will be challenging ourselves to a sponsored sky dive in support of our chosen local charity partner for 2013, Child Brain Injury Trust. Some of our more daring members of staff - Chelsea Veale, James Varnell & Stephanie Harkin - have taken up the challenge and will be leaping 10,000 feet from a plane at a local airfield. We have even talked our company owner, Gary Paterson, into taking part - a good way to lead by example and motivate the team!
The Child Brain Injury Trust was established by a group of health professionals in 1991 to research and provide information regarding the effects of 'traumatic' injury on a child's developing brain. Parents of children with acquired brain injury were keen to become actively involved with the charity and over time the emphasis on the work changed.
Today the charity is the leading voluntary sector organisation providing non-medical services to families affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK.
Families continue to be involved in the development of the charity and we continue to be amazed and enlightened by their energy and uniqueness. The charity currently spends around £600,000 per year on delivering services to families and professionals. The money is raised through the hard work of fundraising and training teams, staff, volunteers and supporters. Very little money is provided by central Government.
Here at Paterson Recruitment we would love your support at this event and invite you to come and watch the braver ones in the company take the plunge. It will take place at:
HINTON AIRFIELD
Steane,
Brackley,
Northants.
