In the state of Palestine, a region inflicted with conflict, high unemployment rates and economic stagnation due the lack of trade and resources, starvation is common amongst a large proportion of the population. 

Up to 1.6 million individuals are deprived of nutritious food. 

This Ramadan, Penny Appeal will be working to provide food parcels for a month to Palestinian families, alongside Iftar in the last few nights of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa.
